Keynote Presentation | The Open Encyclopedia System and the LHTC
From the outset in 2019, the Open Encyclopedia System (OES), developed under the aegis of the Center for Digital Systems (CeDiS) at the University Library of Freie Universität Berlin, has been chosen as the open source software framework for the technical implementation of the LHTC. As part of the collaboration with Research Area 5, "Building Digital Communities," the OES software is further developed, both technically and conceptually, to enhance its editorial features and functionalities that allow for advanced content management. During the meeting with the OES Development Team, we highlighted the process of designing the content building blocks and their interrelations, and discuss the development of LHTC-specific features in alignment with the conceptual and functional requirements for the LHTC.
