Monday, 7 June & Tuesday, 8 June, 3 - 6 pmThis workshop provides an accessible introduction to the programming language Python as a poetic tool. The workshop will be held by Allison Parrish, who both authored numerous works of digital literature and teaches a class on »Reading and Writing Electronic Text« at New York University. While there will be space for theoretical reflections, participants are particularly encouraged to practically explore the literary potential of code by tinkering with poetry generators and digital cut-ups among others. Prior programming skills are not required.
