Workshop | Mapping Textual Spaces: Visual Strategies to Approach the Unreadable
Organised by Barbara Bausch, project Reading Reading. On an Aesthetic Practice (2024–), Research Area 4: "Literary Currencies" in cooperation with the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.
Workshop with and by Robin Coenen & Danielle Rosales (visual intelligence).
The workshop invites participants to explore reading material as a visual, structural and interpretive process. Together, we will engage with unreadable textual artifacts, seeking new insights through artistic visual analysis and documenting our reading process through mappings. The event is open to students, scholars, artists, writers, typographers and anyone curious about the intersections of text as material and meaning. People of all ages are invited. The collective results will be presented at the event READING READING ROOM and in an online publication.
This event is part of the format READING READING: IL/LEGIBLE.
