We are looking forward to our first Jour Fixe of the new year!

For this occasion, we invite you to a screening of film clips and a discussion about transnational perspectives on German film history. In the next summer term, the Cluster will organise the film series "Transnational Filmmaking in Germany: Practices, Routes, Archives" in cooperation with Sinema Transtopia in Wedding. The event is curated by EXC post-doctoral researcher Till Kadritzke and film scholar and curator Carlos D. Kong.

For this Jour Fixe, Till and Carlos will present the film series, show excerpts of some of the films they intend to show and discuss the stakes involved in a transnationalisation of German film history.
