EXC 2020 Temporal Communities

The Forschungscampus Dahlem brings together seven institutions of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz, some of which are located in Berlin-Dahlem. It includes the Ethnologisches Museum, the Museum für Asiatische Kunst, the Museum Europäischer Kulturen, the Institut für Museumsforschung, the Kunstbibliothek, the Gipsformerei, and the Rathgen-Forschungslabor of the Staatlichen Museen in Berlin, as well as the Ibero-Amerikanische Institut. The alliance positions itself as a network that links various competencies and aspects, developing, presenting, and communicating new knowledge about material and immaterial cultures within the Dahlem collections. The goal of the Dahlem Research Campus is to break down hierarchies between knowledge systems and contribute to equal collaboration on research questions.
