EXC 2020 Temporal Communities

Textem Verlag is a publishing house based in Hamburg with a transdisciplinary program that spans literature, theory, and various artistic fields. Textem’s publications range from academic works to literature and artists’ books. Many of the books showcase a wide spectrum of visual design, and graphic experimentation, and explore alternative relationships between text and image.

 The Cluster is collaborating with Textem to launch the publication series con·stel·la·tions in 2024. This series spans multiple formats and disciplines, testing forms of knowledge at the intersection of art and science. As a project of the CONSTELLATIONS unit – the Cluster’s hub for collaboration between research and the arts – the series integrates academic perspectives, artistic positions, and collaborative modes of engagement.
